Acrobat license canceled w/o information / Complaint Hotline?

Dear Adobe-community,

when I tried to deactivate my Acrobat license in order to move it from WIn10 to Win11 I was told it could not be deactivated. Trying to activate it on the new Win11 was failing as well.

Therefore I contacted the support hotline ... Discussed with some Adobe colleague on the phone,. who informed me he could not fix this issue, but would forward the ticket to the corresponding tech department taking care of the license management.

After 4 days of no proceeding on that issue I contacted the support via chat. Now I was informed my license had been deactivated, giving me no reason. I was asked, if I had an official license and where I bought it. The license was officially bought by me from a reseller in 2012.
Answer: Ask your dealer to fix that ... or otherwise I can offer you a subscription at a reduced rate ...
Nice: You bought a lifetime product, it gets deactivated and after a certain time feel free to switch to a subscription with a monthly fee.

Does anybody know, where to raise a complaint on such license / "customer" care?

Thx.
Michael

Was it an official reseller, or just someone who was offering an Adobe license? If the former, did you contact them about it?

Did you ever register the license with Adobe?

Not sure, if the company is officially listed at Adobe as reseller. The company is listed since 2011 in the e-commerce business selling SW licenses. Contact pending. Don't think they will take care about a license I bought years ago...
The SW was directly registered in my Adobe Account once bought.

They should, if they are a legitimate company. If they don't report it as fraud to your bank and/or credit-card company and ask for a refund via them.

But if the license was registered under your name on Adobe's system then they need to explain why it was blocked now. Contact them again and demand an explanation.
