Acrobat Licensing Application Blank Screen in Windows 10

Hello,

I just get a new license of "Acrobat Professionnal 2020" for my Windows 10.

Everything was OK during installation until I tried to run the application.

First window "Acrobat Licensing Application" demands a mandatory sign in. I chose "sign in now".

Second window asks my email. OK

Third window asks my password. Everything's fine.

Fourth window is totally blank and I only can close it.

Back to the first window and no way to start the software.

I found this kind of issue in forums but only for Mac OS. Nothing for Windows 10.

Some of Adobe products were previously installed on the computer via Creative Cloud.

I tried "AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool" to clean EVERY Adobe products before reinstalling Acrobat in vain, despites a lot of tests and reboots of the PC.

Thanks for reading. Any Idea ?

Hi Olek,

Thank you for reaching out and sorry about the trouble.

Please try removing all Adobe folders from your machine and run the cleaner tool from this page: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html#downloads. Then reboot the machine and do a fresh install of Acrobat 2020 from this page: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/acrobat-2020-downloads.html.

Check if that helps.

If the issue persists, try creating a new user account on your machine. Then install Acrobat 2020 and see if you experience the same behavior.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi,

Thx for your quick answer.

The solution was indeed to create a new Windows 10 adminstrator account and perform installation from this account.

Problem is solved but it shouldn't be so complicated to install a software like this 😞
