Acrobat login asks for Scan QR Code etc

Hello everybody,

I started experiencing problems with my browser version of AdobeSign recently. When I try to upload the document for signature, the browser regularly kicks me to the starting page, and even if the documents uploads, there are no signature fields to be put in it, as well as other e-sign infrastructure, just the PDF file in the browser. I tried to install the desktop app, but it doesn’t let me log in with my Adobe ID (asks to scan the QR code, enter the Adobe ID on the smartphone, all successful and… nothing happens!). I am lost.

    Hi @lustdevildoll ,

Sorry for the troubled experience and thanks for reaching out.
Could you let us know the name of the operating system and Acrobat version.

The QR code sign-in prompt is usually related to an outdated Acrobat build, old installer, or corrupted licensing/sign-in credentials.

    Please try the following steps:

    1. Update Acrobat to the latest version:
    2. If the issue persists:
      • Sign out of Acrobat and Creative Cloud
      • Close all Adobe applications
    3. Reset Adobe licensing credentials (dont try it if you have more than one Adobe Paid application). In that case please contact us via our chat or call support channels :
      • Delete contents of:
        • C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
        • C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLCache
    4. Restart the machine and sign in again
    5. If using Acrobat 2020 or perpetual installer:
      • Download a fresh installer from your Adobe account profile instead of using an older installer package

Several users in the community reported the issue was resolved after updating Acrobat or reinstalling using the latest installer.

Let us know how it went.
