Acrobat mirroring certain form fields about the center of the page

Hello,

I get PDFs from a particular API- these PDFs are filled forms. I've been doing this for a long time without the recent issue that emerged. Since this issue, I did a full exploration with the support team of the API we use, and we were not able to discovery anything that could be responsible.

From about October 18, 2023 to November 18, 2023, certain fields of our forms began being mirrored on the form. What this looks like, is that certain dates and statements would be upside down and backwards on the top side of the page, when other PDF viewers see them normally on the bottom side of the page. I wish I could provide an example but I can't because of confidentiality. We tried several other PDF viewers and none of them saw these particular handful of fields affected.

Although the problem has stopped, it threw a wrench in our works to the point where we want to understand what could have happened so we can try to prevent a similar issue in the future.

I apologize for the dearth of details- I hope that this phenomenon might sound familiar to someone.
