Acrobat never opens the last session

Hello,

Note: "Open PDFs from last session on Acrobat launch" is ON.

Whether I use free Acrobat Reader or my paid subscription, when windows restarts due to updates, Acrobat never restores tabs from the previous session. I cannot even find the previous opened documents under "Recent" files. This is not a recent issue, it has been happening since I can remember.

Basically, this feature is broken or works only under very specific situation.

I communicated this to Adobe customer support few time, never had a response.

Any idea how to get it to work ?
