Acrobat no print to PDF option

I have Acrobat 8 as part of CS3. I have installed it on Win 10 64bit many times. I just reimaged my computer, but don't get the Adobe PDF Converter printer. I tried a repair. I tried to add the printer through Devices and Printers as a local printer. I don't have the Documents\*PDF port. I tried creating a port and using the inf to get the driver but it fails.

It's wildly optimistic to hope to get software from different eras (CS3, Acrobat 8, Windows 10) to work together. Many things have no hope of working, such as integration with recent versions of MS Office. However, one key point: the Adobe PDF printer with the original Acrobat 8.0 did not work with any 64-bit system. Support for 64-bit systems was added with the 8.1 update (which you will have to find and download, as automatic updating is broken). This was for Windows 7, but you might be lucky.

win 10 isn't compatible with acrobat 8.

ntl, you might be able to fix that. but it will probably be quicker and easier to use a work-around: How to Print to PDF in Windows: 4 Tips and Tricks
