Acrobat not displaying pdf correctly

Question

Pdfs created using Indesign are not displaying correctly in Acrobat. Elements of pdfs are editable using the edit tool, but they are not displaying/invisible.

Pdfs print perfectly fine, and preview perfectly in Finder. The same pdfs are displaying perfectly fine for colleagues in Acrobat.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Indesign and Acrobat to no avail.

Which version of Acrobat are you using?

Is this version of Acrobat the same version that your coleagues are using in their computers? And is it updated to its latest version?

Is this happening on Windows or macOS?
