Acrobat opens endlessly refreshing window

When opening a PDF, Acrobat opens a window within the application that endlessly refreshes. It loads, the window blanks out and then shows it is loading again, on repeat. The PDF itself populates behind the window. 

I have verified the settings are the same as on my other computers, and have downloaded and reinstalled the program on the device. No luck.
