Acrobat pasting Russian text error

My Acrobat is version 2025 and the language is Chinese. I want to paste Russian text into the PDF, but after each paste, the font changes to "Adobe Song typeface std L". Then when I want to change it to Arial or Times New Roman, it prompts me "Some characters in the font you selected are not available, please try choosing another font". I need help

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.

 

The problem is interesting, and we would need more details to investigate. Do you have OCR enabled for the document? 

You might want to turn off OCR on the document and check again if it works for you: https://adobe.ly/4caYF34.

 

If it doesn't, please share both the documents (the one in Chinese and in Russian) so we can perform this in-house.
