acrobat pop-up

I am using the latest Acrobat DC version

I constantly get this pop -up window when I'm trying to edit a document.

"please wait while the document is being prepared for reading"

 

How can I get it to stop?

Hi there

 

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

 

Please go to Edit (Win), Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > Preferences > Reading > Under Screen reader option, Page vs Document select 'Only read the currently visible page' > Click OK and reboot the application.
