Acrobat preflight tool not working

In Acrobat Pro DC (2015 release) with the Print Production tools loaded, the Preflight tool has stopped working.

Output Preview works, but when selecting the Preflight icon, nothing happens, no dialog box.

Did the usual checks, update CC, restart MacOS Sierra 10.12.

I have Acrobat XI and that still works.

What is wrong with Acrobat Pro DC?

Generally repairing the app should solve the issue but since you are using a Mac computer, please try re-installing your Acrobat Pro DC once.

I am IT Support staff, and have user with Adobe Pro 2017, that same issue has happened - Using Win 10 64bit OS.

He opened PDF, and selects Preflight, and  Preflight dialog box does NOT appear.  It was previously working.

 

We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Pro 2017 and also running repair, but still not getting Preflight dialog box.

 

Can you assist, or make other suggestions on getting Preflight working again?

    I changed the screen resolution and then the dialog box appeared.
