Using Acrobat XI, see screenshot. Is there a permanent way to get rid of this mini preview?

[Note from moderator: although there are dozens of Acrobat and PDF forums, there does not

Is that the one you see when scrolling? Turn on Enable Scrolling in View > Page Display or by using the toolbar buttons.
