acrobat print poster more paper efficient

I am trying to print an image that requires multiple pages, so I clicked on the print poster option. In the preview menu it centered what I am trying to print in the middle so I need 4 pages but if I placed it in the corner it would only need 2 pages. Is there a way to change it so its more paper efficient?

Your printer does not print borderless. Acrobat places your page in a way, that information is printed. Ergo: Your page needs to be smaller than the print size on the page:

The page size of my test is 95% of an A3.
