I'm recently having an issue with lagging documents if I try to open more than 1 at a time.  I'm using Windows 11 and found the problem before and fixed it, but maybe it's because of a recent update??  Can someone point me in the right direction?  I'm sure it's a setting.... Thanks!

I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

 

Does this happen with a specific PDF or all PDFs? Do you see an error message, or is there just a lag when opening the PDF? Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 24.005.20xxx Optional update, Jan 30, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and check. For more information, see this: https://adobe.ly/4hIrohe.

 

Restart your computer and check if the issue persists. For testing purposes, temporarily disable Enhanced Security in the app: Go to Menu > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) > Uncheck "Enable Enhanced Security" > Click OK. Restart the app and check if the issue is resolved. Remember to re-enable the security settings after testing.
