Acrobat Pro 2017 - regularly freezing

Hi everyone - I am currently using Acrobat Pro 2017 on a Mac computer (MacOS Mojave, Version 10.14.6). I am not wanting to update to Catalina as I had done that and found a lot of my programs no longer worked. This version of Acrobat was purchased after my machine was repaired and re-using Mojave. I am finding it ridiculous that it constantly "hangs" and Adobe Chat's advice is that I need to uninstall and reinstall - well I've done that 3 times now and I still have the same issue. I would really grateful if somebody has a workaround for this. Adobe has worked really well for me in the past so not sure why I'm having these issues now. Cheers, Kaye

Hi there

we are sorry for the trouble and the delay in response.

As described the application is freezing op opening, What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC you are using? To check the version please go to Help > Check for Updates
Make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates

If it still doesn't work, please create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

Regards

Amal
