Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 no longer combines my Excel files into PDF. It works for Word files, other PDFs. Is there a security setting in either program that will fix this?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for reaching out.

Is this issue happening with a specific Excel file or with all Excel files you try to combine? Please try combining a different set of Excel files and check if it works.

What exactly happens when you try to combine the files? Do you see any error messages? If yes, please share a screenshot for better understanding. A short video recording of the steps you follow and the issue you experience would also be very helpful.

Also share the version of your operating system and Acrobat 2020? To check the Acrobat version, go to Help > About Acrobat and ensure it is updated to the latest version 20.05.30748. You can update it by going to Help > Check for updates. After updating, please restart your computer and try again.

Let us know how it goes.

I am able to add and combine PDFs and Word files but when I add an Excel file and then try to combine it with other files, Acrobat simply closes.  No error message.

Yes, that is the version of Acrobat that I have. My operating system is Windows 11 Version 10.0.26100. Excel 2013.

This probably only started happening in the last 8-12 weeks.
