Acrobat Pro 9.0 - avoid automatic open of pdf

Hi All,

I wrote a software which creates invoices as pdf files. 

My software has an own preview window to examine those invoices.
If the user decides to save an invoice immediately my Acrobat Pro opens this invoice and the user has to look a second time at it.

Is there a way to avoid the automatic opening when saving a new pdf file by an extern program?

Yes, you are right.

My software uses a lib which sent a flag for preview. I didn't know of that flag.

If you are printing to Adobe PDF, there is an option in printer setup.

Otherwise, it's either an option in your invoice app, or your browser. Acrobat only opens a file if it is told to do so.
