Acrobat Pro "Cannot find or create the font" after using the font last week on the same machine

Last week I created a new PDF file. To do so, I installed the Raleway font family and used it with no problem. Today, I went to edit the file, and when I get to the Raleway sections, it gives me the error: "Cannot find or create the font 'Raleway-Regular'. Some characters may not display or print correctly." and it just displays two black dots for any character I try to add or change. (See attachment.)

I experiemented with using it in another file, and I encountered the same problem. Previous enquiries about this problem referenced Acrobat DC, and mentioned that users should enable local fonts. On 2024 Acrobat Pro, that's not even an option to togle on. Please help!

After more troubleshooting, I found out that I needed to reinstall the fonts inside the local Creative Cloud app, and it started working.

I should have mentioned that the font displays properly if I do not edit the text or try to use it for new text.
