Acrobat Pro consistently beachballing when resizing windows

Acrobat Pro consistently beachballing when resizing windows especially if there are two or more files open at once.

Latest Acrobat Pro (Modern interface) and MacOS with an M1 machine. When this happens, the CUP usage spikes, sometimes over 100%, as seen in Activity Monitor.

Can someone please try this "at home" and see if you encounter the same issue?

thanks.

Hi JIPNET,

Thank you for reaching out.

As the application is not working, please try rebooting the machine once. Ensure that the application is updated to the latest version. If that does not help, you may try once reinstalling the application using the following steps:

-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/4i7vKy8).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/4jofh9Q.

You may also try the troubleshooting steps suggested here: https://adobe.ly/3E1dybP

If the issue continues, we will require the logs to investigate the behavior further.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I am asking the community to test this on their own machines. You may do this too and report back.

I've already been in touch with Adobe engineers. They acknowledge a memory problem but so far have no fixes.
