Acrobat Pro crashes within 60 seconds in MacOS 10.14.6 (problem report included)

Hello everyone:

Acrobat Pro crashes shortly after opening a document. Below is the crash report from Adobe.  It seems the system is attempting to access a website but can't and then it crashes.  I have  tried a few things but can't fix it and I'm stumped.  My machine is a 2019 MacBook Pro running Mojave 10.14.6.   Any suggestions welcome!

Thank you.

The last Mac OS version Acrobat X was compatible with is 10.6.4. See: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/system-requirements-old-versions.html

Installing it at any version beyond that is done at your own risk. Also, this application is old and outdated and using it is a security risk.
