Acrobat Pro DC

I had a problem with Acrobat Pro DC 2015 not allowing me to minimize the window (it would only stay in maximum window size).  I uninstalled and reinstalled but now I get the message Serial Number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer when I enter my 2015 serial number.  It seems to think that I am upgrading but I just want to reactivate my old 2015 version that I had to reinstall.  How do I reactivate my 2015 version again.

Where do I get the other serial number?  I only have one.

you must have had two at one time to install acrobat dc the first time.

you have 3 ways to recover a serial number that you once had:

1. you can check your account (if you purchased from or registered with adobe), https://accounts.adobe.com

2. if your adobe program is installed on another computer you can recover its serial number from that computer, (win:) http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html, (mac:)  https://mac-product-key-finder.com/

3. http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html

your acrobat dc 2015 is an upgrade from a previous version.

when you start to install, you'll be prompted for your acrobat dc 2015 serial number.  you will then be presented with a dropdown that allows you to select the qualifying version (eg, acrobat xi).  select the qualifying version you own and then enter its (eg, acrobat xi's) serial number.

enter the correct number at the correct time and installation will proceed.

I entered the serial number and received the message that it was not for a qualifying product.  Attempted this on every version listed.  There does not seem to be an Acrobat Pro DC version listed?

re-read message 1 carefully.  you need two different serial numbers for two different versions of acrobat.
