acrobat pro dc activation

when the key is entered it works fine but whenever you open the app, it says too many devices associated.
when you go to online account, it says zero devices associated. unable to find anything online.

Hi, 

Can you confirm you installed Acrobat and trried to activate it using a serial number?

Where did you get this serial number from (education institution, online purchase...) 

Usually, when you subscribe, there are no serial number and the licence is automatically associated with your account, so you could see in your profile details how many times it was intalled.

Pulled the license directly from the account logged in below. The download was from the same page as the license key. Its an older Acrobat pro perpetual license
