Acrobat Pro DC download and install freezes at 2.6%

Am trying to reinstall Acrobat after many irritating issues... but the download freezes at 2.6%. I have quit everything associated with Safari with the activity monitor.

Why are there so many issues with Acrobat? What is going on? What is going on with the company? Is it still functioning? Is it still in North America?
