Acrobat Pro DC - error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly.

I get this message when trying to open only some PDF maps on Acrobat Pro DC. the error message goes on to say "please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem." Not sure what is going on. My partner can open the maps no problem and he has same computer, same license for Acrobat. Attached is the map I can't open and one I can. they were both produced by the same person.
