Acrobat Pro DC install failure

Question

My laptop meets systems requirements for Acrobat Pro DC (per adobe listed requirements). Yet I receive error 21 when trying to install. I have Acrobat Pro DC on my work computer (annual subscription since 2016) and now wish to install on my personal laptop.

The laptop is Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit with "Intel i7-4600U @ 2.10Ghz 2.7Ghz". 8.00 gb RAM, and SSD with 35 gb available. Resolution is 1920 x 1080. Let me know if you need further info.

I am at a loss and any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the error message for a better understanding? Also, what are the steps you are doing to install the application?

Please run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once and install the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and see if that works for you.
