Acrobat Pro DC Installer Freezes at 5%

After the Acrobat Pro DC Installer is downloaded and initiated it Freezes at 5% and never calculates a time remaining. The Installer stays at 5% and never progresses.

How can this be fixed?

you should install the cc desktop app from here https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and use it to install your acrobat dc subscription.

I was able to resolve this by running the creative cloud cleaner tool and cleaning all Adobe products - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

and then installing Acrobat the Creative Cloud application https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
