Acrobat Pro DC is not creating a uniform PDF from multiple Excel workbooks

I create proposals using multiple workbooks (tabs) within an excel file. the first two tabs are set to Fit to 1 page for the Page Layout the last tab is set to a scale of 80% to have it look correct when converted to PDF. I recently switched from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and I am now having issues with the formatting when going to PDF. The Tab when converted to PDF is now showing wider in when its viewed by not only me but also anyone who opens the file than the first 2 pages. I did not have issues with this until 2 days ago when I went to windows 10 and coworkers who have windows 10 but an older version of acrobat can take the same file and not have any issues with converting it to PDF without editing it.

I currently am having to change the first two tabs to 80% in excel to make it look uniform but that should not have to be the fix for a standard template I have been using for years.

I have figured out my own issue with this. You have to have your default printer set to an actual printer and not Adobe PDF maker. Adobe PDF maker will take your first page of your workbook as your 8.5x11 page and any deviation from that will increase (decrease) based on your page zoom in the other workbooks. If you have your printer set to an actual printer and not a print to file and set your page size at the appropriate size (mine is 8.5x11) then all pages will come out uniform and not different page sizes as the image above shows.

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. As per the description above, Acrobat is not creating PDF from an Excel file properly as the formatting is not correct, Am I correct?

Please try to create the PDF file from Acrobat's File Menu, File>Create PDF from file, and see if this makes any difference in the formatting.

In Excel, go to the ACROBAT's Preferences from the top ribbon, in PDFMaker serttings>Conversion Settings>Choose High-Quality print, and see if this brings any difference.

Have you tried with other Excel file and checked if the issue is reproducible? Is it specific to one Excel file or with all the files?

What is the dot version of Acrobat installed, to identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Good Morning Anand,

Please see the below for my answers. In short not one of these has worked

for me.

Please try to create the PDF file from *Acrobat's File Menu, File>Create

PDF from *file, and see if this makes any difference in the formatting. This

still produces the file the same way that it does from excel.

In Excel, go to the* ACROBAT's * Preferences from the top ribbon, in *PDFMaker

serttings>Conversion Settings>Choose High-Quality print, *and see if this

brings any difference. This did not make a difference and I have tried all

of these and have even tried to customize them and still end with the same

issue.

am not having these types of issues.

Have you tried with other Excel file and checked if the issue is

reproducible? Is it specific to one Excel file or with all the files? It is

with all excels that have the print area already defined when I export them

out of our proposal database. I have a coworker that works with Adobe XI

and she is not having these issues when we got windows 10. We have the same

Microsoft suite so I have narrowed this to Adobe Acrobat DC.

Currently I am having to change the page layouts for each tab

(workbook) in the excel file to all be at 80%.

When the excel file kicks out of my database the first two tabs are set at

100% and Fit to 1 Page and the 3rd tab is set to 80%. Previously, and for

anyone currently not on Acrobat Pro DC, I/we would/should not need to touch

the first two pages. When I PDF and do not change the page layout the

attached image is what happens.

Any assistance is appreciated.
