Acrobat Pro DC mind numbingly slow and painful to use

Acrobat use to be so fast and user friendly.

Now, I hate hate HATE it. It's like trying to get an old arthritic man out of bed in the morning.

I do a lot of frequent printing of labels that are generated as PDFs through various shipping apps. It often takes between 5 to 10 minutes to print the first label.

Open Acrobat... spin spin spin... spin spin... (couple minutes later)

Open PDF... spin spin spin.. (couple more minutes later)

Comand Print... spin spin spin... (App monitor 'Acrobat unresponsive') wait... spin spin spin...

Print dialogue finally opens so I click 'Printer setup...' so I can select the rear tray for label paper.

And... spin spin spin... (couple more minutes later)

FINALLY get to click 'Print' which is followed by more prolonged freezing before FINALLY finishing the print job. A quick glance at Spotify shows that 3 and a half songs have played in the time it took to print one, ONE SINGLE PAGE!

I can then print more files in that print session without much issue but as soon as I'm done, I have to completely quit out of Acrobat. If I don't, the Activity Monitor shows Acrobat slowly gobbling up more and more memory until my entire Mac grinds to a halt.

I so want Acrobat to be an actual person so I can punch it in the face.
