Acrobat Pro dramas

I just purchased Acrobat Pro licence in order to edit existing PDF's. The sales spin said that was what it was for and easy as. Well, every time I try I just get ugly fonts and spacial weirdness, and I have no idea how to fix this. The program seems very clunky, hard to navigate, can't find any support for this online. Very dissatisfied

No technical suppport line or chat that I can find either. Not happy.

Acrobat is NOT a tool for editing the static contents of an existing PDF file. It's a common misconception.

Yes, it can technically do that, but that's not a good way of doing it. You should edit the original file and then use Acrobat to create a new PDF. If you don't have the original file you can export the PDF to an editable format and then do it there. Using Acrobat as an editor should be your last course of action, only if nothing else works.

good luck trying to get customer support from adobe. All their departments from sales, marketing, customer support, technical support, all the way to engineering - these are all unreliable, despicable pieces of human garbage.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the experience you had

Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you are doing to edit the PDF? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Try to edit a different PDF file and check if the issue occurs.

Also check out the help page: https://adobe.ly/43Qohhx and see if that works.

Let us know how it goes.
