Acrobat Pro - Form/Acrobat Reader margins different?

Hello,
a question about creating an Acrobat Pro form -> editing/filling/printing it with Reader.
I have created a form with Acrobat Pro that I want my colleagues to fill out and process with Acrobat Reader.
When I print it with Acrobat Pro, the margins (top) are correct; when a colleague fills in the form with Reader and then prints it, the entire content slides up about 1 cm.
What can I do to prevent this?

Thank you and best regards

Correct answer JR Boulay

Re-create a layout using the A4 format, export to PDF.

Open the form with Acrobat Pro, go to the page navigation pane and use "Replace pages" to import the new PDF.

This only replaces the layout, everything else (form fields, metadata…) will stays untouched.

Otherwise you can use the Preflight (Print Production tools) to resize the form.

Many thanks for the help JR!

With solution 1, unfortunately the text that was created in the underlying Word document had disappeared after the pages were replaced. All fields etc. remained unchanged.

Using Preflight, I was able to scale the form to the correct format by correcting it. Perfect.

Thanks again, it helped me a lot.

Just found out that the form has the page format 215.9 x 279.4 mm - probably because it was originally created from a Word document.
Actually, the page format should be 210.0 x 297.0 mm. I suspect that the problem is related to this...(?).
Is it possible to simply change the page format of the form with Acrobat Pro?

Thank you and best regards
