Question

Acrobat Pro freezes when changing window size

I have a newer Mac M1, running Sonoma 14.6.1

This issue started about one year ago, and seemed to coincide exactly with me downgrading my subscription to non-Pro version. Ever since then, despite how many PDFs I have open, despite what version of MacOSX, it does this every time, and today's episode is especially bad.

About 2 months ago, I upgraded back to the Pro version, thinking/hoping that would resolve the issue, but also because there were other features I needed from Pro. Upgrading seems to have made the issue WORSE.

Is anyone else having this issue? Have you found a solution? It only does this with Adobe, no other software has this issue on this computer.  Here is a video of what is occurring:  https://www.loom.com/share/f64ca0d8df124fed9061eaeb902b18e3?sid=26f0d0cf-076c-44e0-8869-f9cc97a433e5

Hi @wellroots,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

We made certain stability and performance enhancements in the subsequent updates.

Would you mind updating the app to the latest version (2024.005.20xxx) and let us know if the issue is fixed?

To do so, go to Help-> Check for Updates.

If not, please share a fresh screen recording with the latest version of Acrobat installed, and we will get this investigated further with the dev team.
