Acrobat Pro Mac - Blue Pop ups

Please, please, please can someone offer a viable way to turn off these intrusive, distracting and (for me) pointless blue pop up "helpers". They have been driving me mad since 2020. They seem to be more prolific lately. There must be a way to turn them off for good?

Hi D4v3,

Thank you for the screenshots. These pop-ups appear on particular occasions. For example, the second screenshot pop-up message appears only when the application was closed abruptly the last time. There are no default options to remove these pop-ups. However, we can check with the team if it can be removed via the registry.

Please let us know if you still wish to remove these pop-ups. If so, please share the current version of the application and OS on the machine.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi @Meenakshi Negi , I think I'll just live with these ones. I have managed to stop the majority of them using a custom feature lockdown .plist, but thanks for getting back to me.

Hello,

Sorry for the delayed response.

The blue pop-ups appearing in Adobe Acrobat Pro on Mac are likely tooltips, hints, or onboarding messages triggered by new features. These can sometimes persist even after closing them. Try the following and let us know:

Disable All Pop-Ups & Hints (Recommended)

1. Open Adobe Acrobat Pro.

2. Go to Acrobat > Settings (or Preferences, depending on the version).

3. Navigate to General.

4. Look for an option like:

  • “Show me messages when I launch Acrobat”Uncheck it.
  • “Use modern UI” (if available) → Try disabling it.

5. Restart Acrobat and check if the pop-ups stop appearing.
