Acrobat Pro - "Not Responding"

Hi, I have an issue with my Adobe Acrobat Pro showing "not Responding" when i open larger pdf. documents. It appears to happen when a document is larger than 1Mb. The document opens fairl;y quickly, then as soon as you start to work with the document it goes into meltdown. Anyone know why or had the same issue? I've tried rebooting, reinstalling, running the install fixes etc..... getting to a point where i feel i may need to cancel Adobe as i need to review large pdf. documents frequently.

Please update the application to the latest optional update version 23.08.20470 from the help menu > check for updates and reboot the computer once and see if that works.
