Hello!

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to add a preflight check to see if an image is scaled and is not placed at 100%?

Theres is a check for unproportional scaling but I dont think that is what Im looking for, I just want to see if the image is 100% or scaled to a percentage of 100.

Many thanks in advance

Laura 🙂

Hi @laurac2975094 ,

Image is measured in pixels and you can check whether the image attributed remains same or are changed .That can be done using Print Production --> Output Preview --> Select Object Inspector from Preview dropdown and click on image. All image information will be displayed , so this should give you some information about any changes in image resolution.

If you specifically need to check around scaling , then there is a Profile "Scaling Factor used" in Preflight , which you can check and explore to see if it fulfills your requirements.

The size of a digital image is measured in pixels. In a page layout, a digital image can be reduced to increase its definition/pixel density.
This being the case, you must accept that a percentage measurement is meaningless.

Copy and paste this URL into Google Translate to really understand what I'm saying: https://www.abracadabrapdf.net/ressources-et-tutos/creation/en-finir-avec-la-resolution-des-images/
