Acrobat Pro Really Sucks for the Novice and Old.

I have dealth with Adobe since the 1980s. Great Company. But I am retired now I don't keep up with the nuisances of technology. So I opened a form I greated for a Yatch Club like I have done for the last 10 years. And behold. The toolbar is nothing, like chinese icons on the right and left. I just want to change a format of text without going through a videos or entering college again. You have made it so hard and un-intuivative that it unfuctional to me. I spent 3 hours trying to figures out why everything changed. This is an old Microsoft trick, change the menu and everyone will think everything is new. Sorry guys. Microsoft Word still basically works the same. I will use them and save as a pdf. You really dissapointed me on this one. I just don't understand anymore. But I am old so I apolgize, Adobe get your act together (KISS).

You're not alone... Many people dislike the new Acrobat UI. Luckily, it can be disabled.

To go back to the old UI click the Options button at the top left corner (Windows) or open the View menu (Mac) and select Disable New Acrobat.

I just spent two hours with two AI’s and I couldn’t even enter data. The document was meshuga (they won’t let me use profanity). I had to delete it because even with two AIs, I couldn’t even do a simple ‘fill and sign’. It was a corrupted, useless mess.
Adobe, next time you design such a garbage interface, hire a few people who understand that we need a better product, not some arcane, obscure mess. It may have been ‘interesting’ to your engineers, but you’re stopping me. Your human engineering is abysmal. If I wrote something this contorted, I would have been fired. You have taken a simple idea - (adding text and signing a form) and made it impossible (and DON’T tell me to use the AI). I am on the verge of simply uninstalling your software - I’m not going to spend my life beating my head against some mad bugger’s wall.

Do better. You’re already losing customers and there are other tools that are simpler and less arcane. Put on your big engineer pants and do the whole job. Or not.

I feel the same way tju! This newest version of adobe acrobat is very hard to use. The redesign is awful and does not make sense. This has really slowed me down in my work. I used to breeze around documents and was able to manage my taskbars the way I liked. Why do these companies think we need a new UI?? It's terrible! And stop with the AI crap too!
