Question

Acrobat Pro - Send via mail not working

Hey all,

we've deployed the first Windows on ARM notebook (Surface with Snapdragon) and experience an issue with using the "Send as mail" functionality in Acrobat Pro.

The first window appears, where "Microsoft Outlook" is shown as  only option in the dropdown, we click to proceed, but the corresponding mail does not open up in outlook.

We've tried repairing and updating Outlook/Office to the latest version and the same with Acrobat.

Addtionally it was suggested in older threads to click the "set as default" button and remove it again.

When doing this, it does not apply the option immediately, and the application has to be closed completely. Afterwards the setting is apply, but seems even more broken, as the name-placeholder for the applications name is not being replaced anymore. Functionalitywise it did not change the behaviour.

The default handlers for mail (mailto:) are set correctly, and trying this manually correctly opens up a new draft in Outlook.

Also switching from modern to classic acrobat did not change the behaviour.

Can you help us with this issue?
