Acrobat Pro won't open since OSX reinstall

When I launch Acrobat Pro everything looks normal, but it never actually opens or opens a doc I've told to "Open with Acrobat Pro." Also, the only way I can get it to quit is to force quit.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe this is part of the problem...none of those items exist in my preferences folder, so they cannot be removed.

in your applications folder find the uninstaller for your acrobat and uninstall it and, if given the option, uninstall the preferences.

then restart your computer and reinstall.
