Acrobat Pro XI unable to send pdf through gmail

Hello,

I'm on Acrobat Pro XI.  I've never tried to use it to send the pdf via the email button before but I'm having issues trying to get it to send through gmail.  If I use the gmail drop down option it takes me to the sign in for Google but then tells me that it's insecure.  If I try to set up the IMAP in Advanced settings it tells me auth failed.

Any ideas how to get this working?  Thanks

Yeah I know I'm on an old version of the software.  Don't really use it enough to upgrade.  Just wanted to know if that function no longer works before I invest time to try to figure out why.  Thanks for your input.  I will abandoned the mail functionality.

I suppose that @Test Screen Name is right. Google has changed the authentication, and Acrobat XI is still with the old system. There will be no solution for this. The only possibility is to attach the file to your mail. You may also configure a mail program (like Outlook) to do the hard work and let Acrobat speak to your local mail client.

A lot has probably changed in Google security since Acrobat Pro XI closed down, 8 years ago. You may need to get up to date, or just attach a PDF to your email in GMail in the usual way.
