What is the Acrobat product that will provide unimpeded PDF writer function on a PC running Windows Vista?

The last product to provide this was Acrobat X Pro. This has been discontinued for 5 years now. Adobe do not sell or support anything for your system.  If considering a purchase on eBay etc. or Amazon MarketPlace, be aware that the market is flooded with fakes, which often have viruses and often stop working as Adobe catches them.

It is the same product, but much newer.  Version number is now letters, so you have 8 9 X XI DC.

The current version and only version sold is Acrobat DC. For Windows 7 and later. Two products: Acrobat Standard and Acrobat Pro. Two licensing models. Pennant and subscription.

When you say ... Acrobat Standard ... is that the same as Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard??
