Acrobat Query

Hi, I am considering Acrobat or, at least, a PDF tool that can do what I want.

I need to create mailmerged fillable forms.

That is to say, I need to distribute partially-filled PDF Forms from a mailmerge, but they need to be fillable forms (not just a flat pdf), because the recipients need to complete the rest of the fillable fields.  Ideally the mail-merged bit of the form will NOT be editable, but I can live with that.

Can Acrobat do this, or can someone recommend a better tool for this purpose?

Yes, this can be achieved in Acrobat, using a custom-made script, like this (paid-for) tool I've developed:

You can set the fields you want the user to be able to edit as editable in the original file, and they will remain so in the merged version, and vice versa.

Hi, thank you for your prompt response.  Is this an add-on for Acrobat or is it a stand-alone. Can I try it out in a demo version to see if it meets my needs?

It's an add-on tool for Acrobat.

Yes, there's a free demo version available here:
