acrobat reader 9.0 serial key is not working after computer crashed and had to reformat and reinstall the software. Why is this happening?

Anyone help. My key is not being accepted by the system and it tells me that it is an issue from adobe's end. None of the chat staff have been able to help me and sent me in here

There is no serial number for Acrobat Reader. So perhaps you're trying to install the wrong software for your key.

Mac or Windows, and EXACTLY which version of the operating system?

Recent Mac AND Windows operating systems have been known to cause "odd" problems
