Question

Acrobat Reader Acrobat Pro Adobe Sign

Am I right to assume that Acrobat Pro no longer exists (it's called Acrobat now) and that it no longer is possible to create forms that calculate or use JavaScript for validiation?

What do we have to do to create forms that calculate?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Acrobat Pro does still exist, though Adobe recently streamlined its branding and product offerings. The product formerly called Acrobat Pro DC is now simply referred to as Acrobat Pro. Despite the name change, the advanced features you’re familiar with, including creating forms with calculations or JavaScript validation, remain available in Acrobat Pro.

Thanks !  I see now there is a "Disable new Acrobat" link in the Menu and a Enable new Acrobat in the View menu. Seems the marketing department got busy.

But in none of both do I find the feature to validate or calculate a form field on the basis of another. Was this feature removed from "New Acrobat" and "Acrobat Pro"?

Use the tool "Prepare a Form"
