acrobat Reader DC

I am trying to edit (delate pages) of a pdf. I have Acrobat Reader DC on my computer but when I hit the erase P{age command in DC, a opo tells me to download and isntall the program, yet its already installed and in my applications. What is the problem and how can it work to edit a pdf?.

This is not possible with Acrobat Reader. Install and use Adobe Acrobat.

To add to Bernd's comment, that's what the comment to download and install the program is all about. The version you have lets you "read" a document (that's why it's called "Reader," as opposed to Acrobat Standard (PC only) or Acrobat Pro (Mac or PC) will let you do what you want.
