Acrobat Reader DC causes top portion of screen to freeze for all open windows

Opening .pdfs with Reader freezes the top 1-1.5 inches of screen for al open windows. Requires restart to resolve. How can I fix this issue?

Adobe Reader DC Version 2021.005.20060 on Windows 10 Home Version 21H1 OS build 19043.1110
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0

I have the same issue.

It just happened when I opened a word document, but it primarily happens when I open a PDF using acrobat reader.
I hope this helps in establishing a root cause.
