Question

Acrobat Reader DC crashes when a hi res image is placed

I have created a pdf in Acrobat Pro which includes a button to allow someone to add an image when it is open in Reader. It works perfectly when a lo res image is added but trying to add a high resolution image results in Reader crashing. It needs to be hi res as the final doc has to be printed.

Any help to get around this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi davidn63099452,

Could you please let me know the version of Acrobat used to prepare the form?

Would it be possible if you can share the form with us?

You can upload the pdf to Adobe Document Cloud.

Visit this link: https://cloud.acrobat.com/send, click Add Files>Choose Files from My Computer>select the pdf>Create Link.

Once the link is generated, you can then share the link for the file through private message.

To send a private message, left-click on the person's name>Message

Let me know if there is any issue with the steps mentioned above.

Thank You,

Shivam
