Acrobat Reader has frozen on screen while trying to print. Cannot delete file, close program, uninstall. Nothing responds. Even turning off the computer didn't work! It's locked me out of all PDF usage as a result. HELP!

Hi Jem

We are sorry for the trouble and the experience you had.

Have you tried reinstalling the application as suggested by Dave__M?

++ Adding to the discussion

Please make sure you have the latest version 19.21.20061 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates.

You may also, download the patch manually from the link: DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

Please update the thread if you are still experiencing the issue.

We are happy to help

Regards

Amal

I would definitely re-install Reader.  By downloading a fresh installer, you'll ensure that you have the current version too.

Good luck.

My best,

Dave

Do you mean that turning off the computer didn't turn it off, or that Acrobat Reader was still there and frozen when you switched it on, or something else?
