acrobat reader keeps freezing

Question

I am trying to print a specific page from a 106 pg adobe file.  I saved the file on my computer.  When I open it, I can see page one.  If I try and scroll or use arrows to view other pages it freezes and I have to close/end program using task manager.  I have deleted all large adobe files on my computer to see if that would help, it does not.

Check for any missing updates and try updating the application. Go to Help > Check for Updates. To know more about the latest version please use the link - https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html
Is this a behavior with a particular file? If yes could you please share the file with us for testing. Please upload the file on https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/ and share the link.
Try to repair installation (For Windows Only) Go to Help > Repair Installation.

If it still doesn't work

Please remove the application using the Adobe Acrobat Cleaner Tool - https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Reboot the computer
Install the application using the link - https://get.adobe.com/reader/
