Acrobat reader open just HOME tab

Hi ,

Adobe Reader set as default for pdf. extension .

When opening pdf file , it just opens the adobe reader on Home tab without the file i clicked on.

Opening the file from the File menu works.

I noticed that while an instance of adobe reader is opened in background , clicking on pdf file succsefuly opens it .

what could be the probelm ?
