When trying to open a pdf document, the acrobat app won’t open.

I am on MAC OS Ventura 13.0 and tried the clean up tool and uninstall tool, restarted the computer , re-dowloaded the app, and the app simply does not open.

Don’t know how to solve this. Need Help ?

Having the same issues with Acrobat. Ran the cleaner; cleared various System files, etc.

I'm experiencing the same issue, and it just started today. I'm using macOS Ventura 13.2.1.

I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat, as well as using the cleanup tool according to the instructions on Adobe's official website, but Acrobat still won't open.

More specifically, when I try to launch Acrobat, the app icon bounces in the Dock a few times, as if it's trying to open, but then it suddenly disappears. After that, Acrobat doesn't launch at all.

I have the same problem. I tried everything and pdf documents are not opening. It started two days ago. I don’t know what to do.

Since you already ran the Cleaner Tool, restarted, and did a fresh install, I’d check the Mac user profile next.

Try creating a temporary new macOS user account and see if Acrobat Reader opens there. If it works, that would point more toward something in the original user profile rather than the Acrobat installation.

I’d also check Activity Monitor for any stuck Acrobat, AcroCEF, or RdrCEF processes and quit them before trying again.

Ventura 13 is still listed as supported for Acrobat Reader, so the OS version itself shouldn’t be the problem.

I tried reinstalling the app in Safe mode , Tried clearing all the caches and shutting down everything open in Ativity monitor, and re installed the app about 20 times, and it still does not work.
