Acrobat Reduce Size Menu Item

Question

For a long time, Acrobat has had a "Reduce file size" item (conveniently Alt-F, Z) on the Files menu. It was there Friday but has disappeared as of this morning. It was useful, and far more convenient than File/Save as Other/Reduced Size PDF/followed by dialogs.

How do I get the Reduce File Size item back on Acrobat's Files menu?

Why has this option disappeared from the left drop down menu? I use it daily as the reports that we need to load receipts into has a low size threshold and receipts photographed with our phones are always too large. Adobe - bring this back
